Beyond the Border, Close to the Heart

Growing up as a part of the South Asian diaspora in the USA, I always felt like I was living in two worlds. There was the world of high-street American fashion, and then there was the rich, vibrant world of my Indian heritage.

For a long time, it felt like I had to choose one or the other. I could look "modern," or I could look "traditional."

DesiDrip was born because I decided we shouldn't have to choose.

The "Drip" is in the Details

I started DesiDrip in New York with a simple mission: to create streetwear that speaks our mother tongue. I wanted a T-shirt that I could wear to a weekend brunch in Soho but that still carried the weight of a thousand-year-old paisley or the bold stroke of a Sanskrit script.

Every design we create is a tribute to our roots—the colors of a Jodhpur sunset, the symmetry of Mughal architecture, and the unapologetic energy of a Mumbai street market.
